Axis Wake Researched have officially launched the A22 wake boat.
The Axis A22 wake boat is specifically designed for wakeboarding, as quoted by Axis wake boats in a press release on Thursday “this is not a cross-over boat nor was it built to pull a variety of water sports, it is a big wake machine and Axis makes no apologies for that”. Which we think is a little harsh in an environment were wake boats can be hatered on lakes and rivers. We do applaud the boat nonetheless.

The recent Press Release also makes no direct reference to Malibu Boats, except for the line that Axis is guaranteed by the “best selling water sports boat manufacturer in the world”. However, as recently posted on wakeboardin.lifestyleempire.com common features can be seen, the most obvious being Malibu’s Wedge system being used.

Axis Wake Boat’s A22 is something to be stoked about for wakeboarding. The A22 features three tanks of sub-floor Ballast located at the rear and center of the boat, totaling 900pounds. Alternatively, our favourite, is the 1275pound option ballast, the extra weight to being added to either side of the engine. But if you’re soft and want to carry your picnic baskets in these compartments we understand.

For a wake boat aimed at a price sensitive market, we begin to wonder were Axis Wake are making any money. This boat has an amazing dash, U-shape lounge and interior to die for, not to mention the pimped up cabin floor lighting – available in white, red or blue.

Axis wakes’ A22 is about to throw the boat market off axis. Let’s face it this boat is no Malibu or Mastercraft, but it provides an excellent price entry wakeboarding boat with many features. We give the Axis wake boat A22 two thumbs up!
