Double World Title holder, 2006 Australian Pro Tour Champion, and New Zealand National Champion, Jeff Weatherall has become part of the EPIC wake boat family.

(Hybrid Engine Wakeboarding Boat)

In times of global warming, high pollution and high fuel prices every company looks to do there part to save the planet.
In our opinion,  Epic boats have just become a pioneer of the waterskiing and wakeboarding boats market.

Epic boats have released the Epic 23E.  standing at 23feet and designed specifically for wakeboarding it is a hybrid engine wakeboat.
This is a bonus for both the environment and you.  Epic claims that the EPIC 23E burns 50% less fuel than a typical wakeboard boat on a 4 hour wakeboard outing – think of all the extra cash in your hip pocket.

The Hybrid engine is part electric but fuel based. The electric engine lasts for 1hour of wakeboarding or 3 hours of wakesurfing without using a drop of fuel.  the electric fuel cells can be re-charged by a generator or power wall outlet in about an hour.

The designers at EPIC have to be congratulated on such an effort, unlike the motor car manufacturers like the Toyota Prius the Epic 23E actually looks decent!  This might just be the first hybrid transportation vehicle that doesn’t look stupid.

Do something for your environment, save some cash on fuel and buy the Epic 23E.

Oh, if you own a H1 Hummer or a Ford F350 perhaps the Epic 23E isn’t for you… coz you’ve missed the point -it’s for the environment.
