MasterCraft 2010 Xstar

The 2010 MasterCraft stable of boats has been released.

On August 12, 2009 MasterCraft issued a press release on the new 2010 features and innovations for the 2010 boat range.  Here are some of the stand-out features.

MasterCraft has now joined the innovation of other boat manufactures of having a digital computer screen in the dash. Officially referred to Mastercraft as BIG (Boat Instrument Gauge), the 6″ screen allows the driver to see the fuel, temperature, set the speed control and save ballast and surf settings for each user.   Movies can also be watched through the screen fed live through the on-board camera (yes camera.. read on).

The camera, situated on the tower captures high resolution video footage from a completely new angle.

New to the  2010 MasterCraft range is the optional surf-tabs, aka “Rock and  Roll” tabs, which meet the high demand for the new wake-surfing craze… creating the perfect rollers for surfing.

Parks Bonifay Mastercraft Custom Boat Wrap

With all this talk and the general public going crazy over vinyl boat wraps, we’d thought we’d add to the collection the very own and stylish Park Bonifay, thanks to Mastercraft boats.  Parks Bonifay has been given his own signature Mastercraft boat, featuring a custom Mastercraft boat Custom vinyl wrap.   These pictures were taken by frontside productions.

This is the 2009 Rusty Pro Model Mastercraft and the Switzerland Mastercraft tour boat.   We believe this boat may have been designed by Sirlin.

Mastercraft and Sirlin have released more Customised wraps. 

Mastercraft boats releases another customized boat wrap, once again setting a high benchmark for other boat manufacturer’s.  The latest wrap coming from professional artist Sirlin.

Josh Sirlin’s Mastercraft wake boat styled Graffiti Wrap.   The Mastercraft Graffiti wrap will be showcased  at the Telus World Ski and Snowboard Festival in Whistler B.C., April 17-26.

The design will become available as a boat wrap design option through all MasterCraft Dealers on May 1st.

More Mastercraft Wraps to come… a revolution in boat design is upon us.

Mastercraft is the wakeboard boat market leader.  As a all good leaders do they take charge, offering people more and more, allowing everyday people like you and I to become pro-riders like Rusty, Steel and Byerly  who have personalised boats.

Some of the tip-top designs go to the vinyl wraps: DBOT, Flying Skull, and Camo.  Oh, if you’re a keen slalom skier or barefooter check out the 08 nightmare under the fluro green is the eyes of a skull.

I’d also like to point out Park’s Mastercraft wrap boat in the top right hand corner of the image.  In true Park’s style he can never be out done by Byerly, Rusty, and Steel.

If you’re considering buying a legendary Mastercraft boat, seriously consider getting a vinyl wrap and draw yourself out from the crowd.

The 8th Annual WakeWorld Riders choice results have been finalised and posted.

First things first, the Bonifay Boys did not make the 10 ten this year, as was Andrew Adkinson.  The top Male rider for 2008 goes to Rusty Malinoski, followed by Philip Soven
and bronze going to Randall Harris.

On the female front, the one and only Dallas Friday held number 1 – nothing can stop this girl, not even injuries.

Wakeboard of the year goes to the Liquid Force Watson.  Ronix One deservedly takes the silver, and Liquid Force Lyman taking bronze.

Boat of the year always seems to have the same contenders, Mastercraft’s X-Star yet again takes the boat of the year, followed by arch rival Malibu with the Malibu Wakesetter VLX,  and as per last year 3rd place was placed by Correct Craft, but this time the Nautique AIR 230 instead of AIR 210.
